Hudd Fish Los Angeles County

Thanks to the site, I have caught my share using swimbaits this season. This is my first D.D. Large Mouth Bass caught with a swimbait at 10 lbs. 3 oz and second overall D.D. My setup for the day was my Shimano Cardiff 400A loaded with 25lb. Triple Fish Camo Escent, and a 7'11'' Shimano Crucial Swimbait rod. The lake is starting to fill with weeds and the moss is starting to surface. In which forced myself to adjust the cadence of my retrieve. I got her 15 minutes into the session, thank fully as the weather was into the 90's. I painted the gills on thinking there would be old holdovers around and Bass looking for them. Lots of Catfish have taken the good spots near shore but there are still a few to be caught.
