Spectrum Posted August 7, 2013 Report Share Posted August 7, 2013 It's 17" from the seam at the back of the reel seat/start of the rear grip. 15" on a 7'9 MH. It's not the same way TW measures them because that way is pretty worthless when you consider different reel seats, fore grips or no fore grips, how many threads, if any are cut off of the reel seat.
