chris c
Hey guys, long time lurker. I just got a new XML nezumma rat in chipmunk color, but it did not come with hooks. What size owners do you reccomend? I hate to buy several sizes to get the correct one. Also, does anyone know if it is possible to get replacement tails? I see lots of talk about alternatives, but never anything about original tails. Thanks alot for the help. Chris
evilcatfish
2/0 hooks are the ones you want. Not sure about original tails though....
chris c
Thanks for the hook size. I probably will just use trick worms, but was curious if anyone knew of replacements. Thanks again Chris
G3bassin
Not sure about original tails but I have heard a lot of people say they prefer to use hand poured worms better than trick worms because they are softer and have better action
evans_usmc69
I've never tried it but I would think it would work great - 7" roboworm straight tail or the longest fat straight tail worm they make. Anyone ever tried these?

Anyone ever tried these? Yes I have travis and when I tried to screw the worm on the nez it wouldn't go on very well due to the high salt content in the roboworm. I'm sure you can get it to work but it wouldn't last very long

If anything I would try to contact Scott and see if he could hook me up. Nothing but great customer service from 22nd Century in my experience

Plus the owner is very helpful with any questions
echoedd
2/0 hooks are the ones you want. Not sure about original tails though.... + 1 , 2/0 Gammy Round Bend Really like the orignal tails. Mainly use the zoom trick worm tails as a replacement. Attaching at the the collar on the worm.
Ceaser
hand pours are alo softer but that also leads to tails falling off or tearing faster. Thats part of the game, but if they are whipping off on a cast thats no bueno. I prefer the mag trick worms... they are soft but still hefty. It is a XL rat.. stick a fat daddy tail on it! Really tho try different worms and see which one you like best. I just prefer cheap easy and FAT. THe Mag trick worm has it all for me.
