How about the durability. If you are catching stripers, I'm sure that they are beating them up pretty good. Do they tear?

haven't fished mine much but from what I can tell they are durable, tackle tour did a autopsy on them and said they joints can handle 20lbs of pulling pressure before ripping if I remember correctly

I love them. But it seems I've bought a few duds. I have one in 8 inch dark trout moderate sink that swims like a dream on a slow roll. I have some others that don't start swimming until they're moving way too fast to be effective. But my one that does work gets crushed

I have two and they dont seem to swim so great at super slow speeds, but I have caught fish on them. Has worked better in warmer water for me because of the speed issue. Maybe I got some duds too
