hookedup Posted January 20, 2014 Report Share Posted January 20, 2014 Went fishing this morning with Norcalbass. I lost a fish that will haunt my dreams for a while. Hooked it trolling with about 80 yrds of line out, lol. Got her almost all the way to the boat and she jumped and spit the hook, it was a nice one. About an hour later as the tears were drying on my cheeks I caught an 8.2. She followed it to the boat and I paused the bait. She turned away like she wasn't interested and I ripped the bait and she instantly turned and slammed it. Really cool to see. Im not sure how much color comes into play but the new Saiko color has sooo much flash I really like it. unlike the flash trout color all the detail (black spots and pink line) is printed onto the flash that's under the skin and the skin is mostly clear. The flash trout has all the detail painted on the skin so it dulls the flash a bit. Anyways, it was my first time using it and I was impressed with the way it looked in the water.
