Before and After...

They aren't Man-sized Fish like Greg catches, but there has been a lot of them. Lol.

I had been catching a lot of fish on a Shellcracker that I markered because the majority of the paint chipped off the tail section. I left color on the Pec Fins, Mouth and a little on the Belly of that Bait.

When I got the Herring, I thought it was too Red. I liked some Red, but not the whole bait. I fish mostly at night after work anyway and I have a ton of confidence in the color black. I had a brand new Fine Sharpie sitting on my Desk, so I went to town. Lol.

Good to see everyone here,

Good work Adam. With throwing swimbaits i've noticed it has a lot to do with confidence in the bait and that will catch you fish. And if it takes you to mark up a bait to make it work for you, go for it!! That's rad man keep it up. Love the spot in the pictures also :P

Thanks Ryan,

I have only fished it in the Day twice. Lol. It was still very bright, but only in a few key areas: Tail, Fins, Lateral Line and Head.

By leaving the Original Scales the bait also has "counter shading". Darker on Bottom as opposed to top. It stands out everywhere, to a Predatory Fish. IMO.........................

Does any of that crap really matter to the fish though?
