cloteal_cast
Hey guys did I quick search on here and didn't really find much other than talk about the videos on Youtube. Just wondering if anyone has any hands on experience with this bait yet.
iay
I have one, but all of the water around me is solid :/. The bait is very beautiful, tail can be pain the butt to put on, the joint doesn't seem to have as much freedom as the SS. Will let you know once I get the chance to throw it hopefully in couple of weeks.
cloteal_cast
Thank you, I just didn't want to buy one if the action on them wasn't good.
nickh87
I should be getting my trout 262t on monday, it just cleared customs today. I won't have a chance to fish it until the weekend though, I'll try and get some swim videos with my gopro and waterwolf
xxlbass
it swims good, but more a steady retrieve. Burning it does it no good. Paint holds up well for the most part, but some chipping occured and has several clear layers. All in all decent for the price point
perfectpaul
Wide or tighter glide on a slow retrieve?
Guest Guest
I have the same question. Is the glide wide like a 250 or narrow like a stock claw 230. I'm trying to decide between trying the 262t or getting a claw 230 to modify.
iay
Found a video. It looks to be decently tight glide. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oA_6g4wzs-A

charlie
u dont work it on a steady retrieve... It is ment to be fished like a huge jerk bait oliver ngy told me. bdpettit
bigpoppabass
I disagree with oliver who is using the swaver technique on it with success... Islide is smooth and it glides nicely. Start with that before treating it like a jb, swavers r already great for that but glide like a robot imo...i see this puppy doing well as a true glider... pondfisherman
So how would this compare to the new style reps
bigpoppabass
Sorry to say depps r way overrated, east coasters have been unable to duplicate west coast promoters' success. And u need butch b. to tune em wtf?...with that said i am a little behind on the depps and working on the 175s this year but i think they are more like smaller swavers needing a herky jerky jb retrieve... dmayer88
Manufacturer info says steady retrieve....this dude says otherwise. I personally have never thrown one. http://www.finsntales.com/all/swimbait-tips-i-slide-135-185-262/#.Vq0L4UuFNrw
bdpettit
Had one for a while, found it to not do much on a steady retrieve. Add some pumping to the rod tip and it does glide wide. Just wasn't my style
