Socalswimbait
I did a search and nothing came up. So a quick review of the savage gear glide swimmer in the 8 inch or 205 I think it is. I have seen some people in conversation say it's not that good. I have been bit consistently on the bait. After working with it for a few times I found in my experience it swims better going a med retrieve vs slow rolled. I found it glided wider with a bit more speed and with a quick 1/4-1/2 turn of reel it makes a nice quick dart to one side than back to other and swims away to side like looking back behind itself. Normally the bite comes once I start reeling again after the wide double slide. If u keep the std hooks on than makes sure u drive the hook well. They are beefy and won't puncture the fishes mouth if ur line is too light or you don't drive em in good. I'm a mono guy so min I use with a bait of this size is 25 pound and I would prefer to have 30 when throwing this bait cause of the stout hooks. And obviously it's not a high end bait so don't expect this amazing looking or swimming bait but at $18 I can fish it deep all day and not worry about getting stuck. Solid enough big bait for under $20. If u fish it correctly it will get bit Hope this helps.
