monsterpondbass Posted April 4, 2016 Report Share Posted April 4, 2016 I always have my waders with me, and in this situation I had to align myself to cast with the wind at my back throwing where the baitfish are. With how strong the wind was, I was keeping the Pats in the strike zone longer, as opposed if I was throwing into it. This is a fish that does not make mistakes. I almost lost her, as when she bit she went straight down, flaring gills, shaking her head, and I kept my rod tip up best I could.
