Yeah these stripes are stocked in the rivers here. They never go out to the oceans just get into the brackish rivers and bays. There only active in the winter since the waters so warm most of the year. When late spring hits the hibernate in the deep holes and springs. There a blast though got 15 so far all on topwater nothing smaller then 6 lbs.

Haha! Had to call my buddy the rocket scientist to do it for me. Haha. Thanks man I never thought I would pull a fish that big from florida!

 

You would be surprise how many big bass, catfish, etc come out of the littlest places down here in florida!! Ive caught some of my biggest bass out of a 500x500ft pond! :lol:

Yeah I've found that out with the bass, I've pulled some hawgs out of tiny ponds. I just never thought I would find such good striper fishing. Its pretty cool.

 

If we had any lakes with stripers closer I'd be fishing for them. They crush baits, fight hard and grow large. All wins imo.
