xSoCalBassKingx Posted July 20, 2016 Report Share Posted July 20, 2016 Went out on a PM half day with my buddy because the calico bite was on fire recently and the yellowtail have decided to show up. I threw the surface iron most of the day for calicos and a lot of short barracuda but I decide to pick up my freshwater bass rod that I was fishing spotties with. Dropped back a 3/8oz warbaits and a bass assassins 4.7" swimbait and got nailed on the drop. Pretty good fish on 12 lb. let it go to get bigger and swim another day.
