d-camarena
Theyve been out for a while. Anybody have a review on them? Questions i have are- 1. Whats the weight on these? 2. Do they have good action on a super slow retreive?
oh da shiz
If I remember correctly they're 6.5oz depending on the ROF. I'll weigh my tomorrow when I'm on the boat and confirm. I've got both the ROF 5 and ROF 12. They have good movement on a slow retrieve outta the package and even better if you boil the tail section. I strongly advise rigging a stinger hook just behind the dorsal fin or use a frog hook and pinch it at the dorsal fin. I learned the hard way on this and dumped a couple big fish only to see the bite marks at the dorsal fin and 1" towards the tail. arizonabigriver
Surprising this isn't a bigger discussion.... They sure put a healthy price on it. The weight is obviously reflecting how beefy this bait is, but in my head I think of the 6" vs the 8" and the differences in baits and price and it's not a dramatic price hike... So I assumed the 10" would be similar, but a 10" hudd price surprised me for sure. Am I the only one? I feel such a lack of reviews, pictures etc may be the reason I think it is. Am I looking in the wrong sites or groups or did they make a small batch resulting in sell out messages to the people wanting one? Or maybe the 8" is just perfection and we are using a big bass bait already proven!? bigbass45 and d-camarena
TommyGun316
Bump. I own two, but haven't done well (as in nothing) on them. I also have never heard of anything being caught on them, other than oh da shiz's fish up above. Anyone do well on them? They should work great...right??
