kennebecstripers
Thanks! Just picked one up to see how it works - if only this blizzard would stop so I can actually use it. Mother Nature's been a real "Not Allowed" lately for New England.
Mountainryan
I fished this yesterday, the issue I had was at these winter retrieve speeds, as in if you think your going too slow go slower this bait acts like a rof 12+. Water was too stained to see the kick at that speed so not sure about action. In addition, there the wider hudd would slide over weeds, these would kinda dig in. Hopefully that helps. I'm going to treat these as cheap deep hudds and toss them into thick deep timber.
kennebecstripers
I fished mine the other day and at super slow speeds the tail did not kick that much. At a medium speed it seemed to work well and I had one fish follow. Water is still in the high 30s - low 40s so maybe a couple more weeks and it will do better. Agree about the sink rate! swimbaitman
