zanwhite
Haha they aren't messing around, it says the winner of the tournament will be subject to a polygraph test! I assume to make sure only swimbaits were used, but I think it's awesome regardless... zanwhite
Huh, I've only ever fished college bassmaster and flws and I guess never read the rules very well....
bigpoppabass
Never knew anybody ever mention they took a polygraph after a torney ever. I have also subscribed to bassmaster and Bass times forever and have never seen a mention either.
SPEEDBEAD
BBWC had a poly available last year and this year. It's there as a deterrent, keeps guys honest (hopefully). evilcatfish
Lurejerk
Here in Texas it's standard ( Polygraph ) and random polygraph of whom the directors choose, even at the high school level I participate in it is done there at every tournament top 3 and randoms. And being this is Swimbait only Tournament just keep things on the up and up. No disrespect to anyone just the way it is. bdpettit, luckycraft and BiteTheBullet
waynem
Never knew anybody ever mention they took a polygraph after a torney ever. I have also subscribed to bassmaster and Bass times forever and have never seen a mention either. At least 90% of the money tournaments I've fished have had a polygraph rule. Local clubs or pick-up tournaments don't usually bother with it but when there is any sizable prize involved its usually listed. I've only seen it invoked once in a tournament I fished, and those guys ended up being banned from future tournaments.
bassbass
Almost every one that has a payout has it. Like Wayne said it is more to keep the honest guy honest. Greg look at Bassmaster rules section 3 last paragraph, they call it "truth verification test"...This must be the political correctness way. Lurejerk
This is more geared for everyone to have a good time. Get to put names with faces, tell stories, hang out fish etc. With a little bit of competition added for fun. evilcatfish, BiteTheBullet, Rod Wynn and 1 other
Campobassmaster
What I'm wondering is what would the guys lie about if there's a weigh in? I support it for Swimbait's only if they may have not used Swimbait's, 'ales sense. What in normal tourneys would they look for?
