Nice work Dan.  That 5 piece looks like a keeper.  You should be able to make a lot of variations with that master mold.

Thank you Wayne! Yes, I'm glad I decided to carve the master as one piece. It's more work for me now, but I have the freedom to make many variations in the long run.

That swimmer looks great Dan, glad you could salvage the beat up glide. Looking forward to your results. Innovative use of the guitar stand by the way.

Thanks Jeff! Haha yeah I needed to quickly find something to hang the segments on to dry and the stand was the first thing I found

If you are going to do multiple pours (production) you are going to HAVE to degas in order to have any consistency in your baits.

 

Especially if you are mixing in balloons. Every time you mix you add air and it's the number one cause of pin holes.

 

Pin holes are evil and must be eliminated.
