I've got a soft spot for them ugly bastards don't know why but I kinda like the things. I've helped them across roads so they don't get run over, and I've yet to come across one who didn't want to eat my hands.

Turtle soup!

 

It's really good. 8-)

Gotta put them in a barrel for a week to clean out the funk. That's what a friend of mine told me. He also eats muskrats, so I'm not so sure he is a reliable surce :lol:

Hard to tell if thats a snapping turtle?

 

Know a dude that boils the piss out of them for the meat, then BBQ's it with hot sauce.

Then he would take the empty shell of the turtle and sun dry it for a few weeks, in order to able to shellac the shell
