Morph808
Hi everyone, just started using big swimbaits and I am assembling my arsenals. Very curious of the new Destroyer Onager which per TW is Med-Fast taper and handles 4-8oz baits. Anyone bought it yet or maybe even handled it in a store? I am looking for a rod that will handle a Deps 250 comfortably, but also has good balance. Was also considering getting an LDC White Label XH, but not sure if I can wait till next January to get it. Thanks!
ScummyBadger
Ive messed with an Onager in store, it seems like it would be a pretty good 250 rod. Its definitely a little more stout than the orochi xx which feels overpowered by a deps 250 (in my opinion). I have a few Megabass swimbait rods and have zero issues with any of them. What did you think of the balance of it compared to the Leviathans?
evilcatfish
There is a big thread about the USA Destroyers in the Tackle Tour forums, you might want to check it out. Damn sexy looking rods
