MillerDaPikeKiller Posted May 19, 2017 Report Share Posted May 19, 2017 Whats up SU swimbait makers.. Just wanted to post up some pics of a little project I've been working on. I modded a Nezzy rat into a Nezzy frog. I carved up some articulating legs and added realistic 3D glass frog eyes to it. I have no idea how it will swim but when you pick it up it wiggles alot and feels like you are holding a real frog ( minus the slime) .. There should be alot of action to it. I gotta figure out if I'm going to just paint the legs to match the body or send it out to Pizz to give it an official bullfrog paintjob. Top water frog season is almost here in NY and wanted to give em something a little different! What do you guys think? No lathe,I just basically hand carved the 6 pieces into the general shape I wanted with a knife then use a belt sander to sand them down to the match the opposite part. Took a while to get them to match but I wanted them uniform so when you twitch or jerk the bait the legs would kick the same..Either that or I'm just OCD with my baits..lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have the legs painted but still have to clear coat em...(don't know if I like the paintjob yet..I don't have an airbrush setup yet and I suck at hand painting..but when it's done eventually I will post up some pics.
