IsaacM619
Bought a Hinkle trout from Mike last Sunday for $250. I had asked him to text me some pictures but he said his phone wasn't working so we would have to email. He sent a picture of the bait and we agreed on $250. Sent him paypal payment NOT via friends and family. He sent me a picture of his computer screen with the tracking with my address on usps. Monday tracking said pre shipment, Tuesday pre shipment. I emailed him on Tuesday asking if he had dropped the package off yet and he said yes I should get the bait on Wednesday. No bait on Wednesday and tracking is still pre shipment. I asked for a refund last night, gave him until this morning but haven't heard back. So please be wary of dealing with him. I'm not 100% sure he has scammed me and I am aware that USPS can lose things and mess up. But this deal is so fishy and now that he's stopped responding I felt it's time to warn you guys. If he makes this right I will retract everything and we will be square. I will let you all know what happens. oh da shiz
The picture in his post was the same picture of the Hinkle Trout that was on eBay last week too. I hope it shows up Isaac or at least you can start your refund process with PayPal sooner then later. I know, I've started paying the PayPal fee lately with all the sketch stuff going on..... IsaacM619
Honestly, not feeling ya when you do a big buy with a fella with about a dozen posts. Really? You can't buy someone with low post counts? How about if you do buy from someone with low post counts you just pay the fees. Not ALL dudes with low posts counts are scammers. In fact, I had a deal a few months ago from a guy who had 12 posts and he hooked me up big time. Check Jacks feedback, who did the first trade with him? Just cover yourself if you don't know the person and they have low post counts with zero history. I knew if I posted this someone would make me out to be an idiot. Low&Slow
I literally just purchased something from a member on here who has no feedback. But he does have multiple sales on here and some underground posts as well. Needless to say I paid the fees everything goes good then I'll write up a dope feedback. Life's full of chances take em but be cautious and have a good backup plan. Flymaker, bdpettit, jbane9 and 3 others

hydrocephalic
That's really unfortunate, good thing you paid the fees, hopefully PayPal gets you squared away. I got burned once but luckily paid the fees and PayPal got me my money back promptly. I wish one of these losers would get what's coming to them... The fees are a good deal: cheap insurance on an item I'm purchasing tax-free. In CA, my sales tax was something like 8.75% of any purchase. To get a bait purchased from a stranger, with a money back guarantee at half that rate, is a steal. I really think people should abstain from a purchase if another 4% makes you balk at it. Remember, tweekers riding through your neighborhood will take a package off your doorstep, too. Not just shady sellers that suck these days.
