swole_t
After seeing lots of nutria and babies swimming around at one of the lakes I fish I decided to order a large possum in muskrat pattern to mimic a baby nutria rat. Also I had him make it a heavy floater. Took it out fishing last week and fished it in some of the high traffic areas that I've seen nutria swimming in. Caught one on the second cast and then another about 20 mins later. Then missed one at the side of the boat. I'm really liking this bait, I also caught one and missed a couple other on the deps 250. FishDr
Sweet fish! I like the way you can get custom CL8 baits to match your local forage. I had him make a Baby Possum in muskrat colors. Way to match the hatch!

dominioncaster
How does it swim being a low float? I've always liked his cranking version so that it gets down a bit but I may need a low float also!
swole_t
How does it swim being a low float? I've always liked his cranking version so that it gets down a bit but I may need a low float also! I ordered the waking heavy floater thinking i could swim it slowly a few inches under the water. But it doesn't do that, it still is a Wake bait and swims on the surface, and doesn't really crank down. I guess the only difference is it sits lower in the water than the regular waking version (not that I have a waker to compare it too)
