I went with the super slow sink. You can wake it on top with some speed, and when you kill it due to the size and weight, it keeps moving till it stops, then slowly sinks. I threw it around every weedline I could find all weekend pausing it on the way to grass mats and letting them sink/suspend right in front of them.
