D.Harper603 Posted June 15, 2017 Report Share Posted June 15, 2017 Went out to a new spot last night in the yak threw the 3:16 minnow for a bit with no luck. Switched to my trusty gantarel still no luck. Swapped out to one of my baits that I've been working on tossed up next to a weed line started with a little wake then dipped it just below the surface annnndd sluuurp there's the fish! Stoked to get my first fish on this bait can't wait to see how it does the rest of the season. Bait is just a little larger than a 9 inch slammer, wakes and dives to about 6-7 feet depending on retrieve and how far out there you bomb it on the cast.
