SPEEDBEAD
No way I would throw a Hinkle or MagX on the XH production rods. I have one that is 8'6" and it's perfect with the 250. I can't see it doing well with an additional 3-3.5oz bait attached to it. I think your casting distance would suffer for fear of breaking the rod. Ball_08
Hey guys Great review Ceaser. On a side issue has anyone tried the 3 piece LCD rods? Are they as good as a 1 piece? Is there any significant loss of action or any disadvantages? Thank Matt
callejer91342
What do you guys think about the xh throwing a 7.5 oz bait is the 5-8 oz rating pretty accurate?
Acuna
Not much to add here except to say that my XH parabolic is the most insane Hudd rod. For whatever reason, I can cast a Hudd a LONG LONG LONG way with this rod, and when I get bit I can usually bring them in no problem. I also use this rod for large rising sons. My XXH parabolic is for 250s, Hinkle, and other hard baits in that class. I prefer the parabolic rods.
