Deeps 250 Rod??

Any of the custom builders will make an excellent rod for you that will be hard to beat with any of the off the shelf rods. That being said, if you're on a tighter budget (cuz let's face it, even a Dobyns is expensive) then an Okuma guide select xh will do the job just fine. It's gonna be more tip heavy than the more expensive rods but is has pretty good components and it has the strength to throw it well. Just another option if you don't feel like spending $250+ on a rod.

Awesome rod very versatile great feel to it. Throws the 250 like a dream. I have never tried to but I think it would be more than capable to lob my Hinkle trout.

I have a Dobyns 807 headed my way and as well my first deps 250. I hope the 807 works ok for the 250.

Seeker 808 blue lightning II inshore rod, just built one, great treble hook blank!  Custom or factory rod!  Been throwing 4-5 oz rats.
