jakevlastnik
put a nail weight or two in it and fish it as a XSS You can manipulate the sink rate by the nail weights. Ipleadthefish2, HuddMan101, bigpoppabass and 1 other

waynem
Look up the recent thread "followers are killing me..". Jace D talks about using a slightly modified ROF zero huddle to convert glide followers. HuddMan101
I wouldnt fish it with the ste rig because if a fish chokes it there is a high possibility you will kill that fish.
bigpoppabass
I wouldnt fish it with the ste rig because if a fish chokes it there is a high possibility you will kill that fish. That is what I thought at first when I learned firsthand from a night thrower. Doesn't happen with northern strain bass, I think it is the small hooks. You have a fairly weedless setup too contrary to what you might think with a bottom rig setup.
bigpoppabass
Forgot to mention also, the ste rig is very similar to a quick strike rig musky fisherman use with live suckers. The quick strike rig has been proven to be better for the fish than a single hook rig even though it would not appear to be so. nwkurt
Mountainryan
That I meant by the ste rig was not the the bottom stinger treble which I don't like. I meant hanging a weight off the bottom hanger. Rof are not rigged obviously so they still need the top hook
