FishDr
Okay, I've been throwing swimbaits for a while and I'm embarrassed to say I don't know the difference between a "floating" and a "heavy floating" swimbait, like the new Magnum Strong Gill. I assume they both float, but is one just heavier? Sits deeper in the water? Just looking for enlightenment.
northeast_trev
In my experience, heavy float is more of a subsurface/sometimes suspending bait
zanwhite
You could think of them as slow float and fast float, similarly to slow sink vs. fast sink. One rises up slowly and usually dives deeper upon the retrieve, and the other bobs back up to the surface quickly/ is very buoyant

jordan
I'd say a decent comparison would be: the gantarel is heavy floating & the gigantarel is floating
