Been a tough summer for us and haven't put anything together worth posting. Finally got this solid girl on the Toxic Wade Hogg. This baits straight produces and has done well for me over the last two years. Was dark when we got out. Fished off one of our favorite points (where I caught my 11.2 PB). Bomb casted the Wade Hogg out and let it sit for a good 10 seconds and all of a sudden I hear an explosion. Had a ton of slack out and I wasn't sure if she blew up on my bait or not, I just reeled down as fast as I could and swung! She was on. Felt like I was dragging a log thru the water. Glad I had my boy Brian there for the assist. She went 7.0 lbs and 25" on the Working Class Zero Travel Board. She wasn't a GAINT but she was a healthy fish.
