ACE of Bass Posted August 22, 2017 Report Share Posted August 22, 2017 I had to get on the water tonight and see how the ladies responded to the eclipse. I had on my trusty 9 inch MS Slammer. She rolled on it in about 4 feet of water, and dove for the bottom, a silent hit. I thought it might have been a large pickerel, until she started to swing my yak and my MH rod bent. She went 5.7. Almost lost her trying to get her in the kayak. You can see she actually came unhooked as i netted her. She was the only fish I got in 3 hrs.
