I haven't been out in about a week so I decided to take a quick trip after work. Super calm conditions around 7:30pm as I make a long cast over a point with a deep weed edge. It was getting dark and I had a long troll back to the ramp so I said to myself, "I'm done after this cast". Well halfway through the cast I just see a tiny slurp over the middle of the point and swung for the fences. I knew she was big when she started digging under my boat, netted her and the rest is history. Fish went 6lb15oz and was caught on a custom color cl8 waking baby possum.
