Stuck this unclassified species of peacock bass in Guyana, South America on a sebile magic swimmer in perch colour. 17 lbs 6 oz.

Unofficial world record of an unclassified species - all guides and lodge operator agreed they've never seen one this big in 25 years of fishing that river.

Congrats! Dude that is so awesome! I'm trying to break the state record for spotted bass in Iowa and we only have them in one lake and man it's hard to get over that number!

Did you have to fight that fish against the current too?? I've always imagined peacock bass fight like amped up stripers/wipers!

Hardest fighting freshwater fish pound for pound, no doubt in my mind. Surprisingly, this beast smacked me in some slack water just above a small set of rapids, almost pulled me off the bow of the boat
