Trout Season

I had an itch to get out and planned a trip a couple of days ahead. Making sure any other plans was pushed out of the way. They had stocked the lake a week before. We got to the lake at 730pm and started off with the wake baits but there was no interest. Switch over to the 8in hudd and instantly got some bites but they never hooked. Worked my way down the bank and felt a good tick right at my foot as I pulled out my lure. Threw it back out and crawled the bottom feeling all the rocks that was in the way and just to where I knew the fish will be. I felt the tick again. This time she was hooked. Splashing water everywhere, I flipped her out the water onto shore. She went 6lb1oz took some pic and released her. Picked up my rod for the next cast and it felt weird. I looked at my bait and The rod tip was against my hudd. I was really bummed but that's why they have warranty haha took out the tip and threw the hudd back in the water and tick, tick, boom! This one fought a lot harder then the other one but came out to be 3lb,5oz and busted my hudd. Got a lot of bite and my brother-in-law landed 4other in the 3-4lbs. We called it a night at 130am.
