Angryjohn
http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Scottsboro_Tackle_Co_Swimbaits/descpage-SBSWIM.html New product at tw looks a lot like a talon. Three baits for 10 bucks on a custom pour seems like a good deal. Only have the 4 at tw but goes to an 8 on there fb page. That cheap I might take a hit for the team and try them out NeilonJ
bdpettit
I've been throwing the 6-8" for about a year now. These are some bad baits. I get 10-20 fish per bait with some mend it. I mostly throw the 6", but been impressed by the 8". Slow-medium crawl has been the best for me in the lakes I fish. 6" fits the 8/0 Beast perfect, and the 8" fits the 10/0 perfect. So are you buying them local or on line? I see them about to be sold at TW. How long you been at these
bdpettit
I buy them straight from the company most of the time. Been throwing them for a little over a year Angryjohn
Angryjohn
Picked up two and the 8/0 hooks you recommended. Plan on putting some meGA strike on them and testing them out. Do you have a wight for a rigged bait.
bdpettit
Never weighed one. If you don't have a swimbait rod, a flipping stick should do the job. I run 20lb fluoro on mine.
Angryjohn
Have two rods I use for big baits. The champion 806 might be overkill and I have an avid 74hf that I use a lot. It handles up to two ounces well.
Angryjohn
Gothe the two pack of the 6 inch today. Initial impressions are the color and pour look good and getting the belly slot open was not all that hard but I thought it was stuck at first. The only thing that did not impress was the eyes. They seem very cheap and the placement seemed kind of off. There stuck in the mold holes so it's not a production issue. Overall for the price we may have a winner. More to follow after rigging and swim tests.
bassbass
If you place a good size order right from the company sometimes they add a pack of there baits for you to try. Angryjohn
