klauren89 Posted January 30, 2018 Report Share Posted January 30, 2018 LONG: Been putting in a fair amount of lake time as the "season" change in California finally forced me to switch from my saltwater routine. 2017 was a junk season for me on the big bait front, as i only fish a few different bodies of freshwater(for bass), and they alll got jacked up by last years storms.. Not that fish weren't caught on big baits, but the ones i had looked forward to fishing, just weren't the right game on the days i put on the fresh...2018 so far has been good to me.. A few 7s and 6s, some heartbreaks, some by catch fun, and really getting a good feel of some baits and how to fish them effectively, its what drives us right?! Short: Some bigger fish in Pre-spawn/Spawn mode already. Fishing is Tough but good, haha. Godzilla, HInkle, DEps, Battleshads, Hudds had contributed to around 30 + fish this month. Put your time in boys! So here ill leave a few photos for evidence...
