Rod Bendhard Posted January 30, 2018 Report Share Posted January 30, 2018 Made this 5 piece pike in my free time over the last few days. Test swam it unweighted and it kinda sucked. Threw some ballast weights in there and it swam great! I actually yelled out loud when I swam it the second time! This is probably my best swimming bait yet as far as the multi segment crank down go. Through ALOT of trial and error I'm starting to figure out how to really dial these guys. The front piece has a glass rattle between the eyes. Don't really know if that helps or not for bass but for targeting pike a rattle is deadly. It measures a hair over 10 inches and I'm not sure about the weight. It runs about half a foot subsurface on a slow retrieve.
