Brian C
So I read the manufactures agreement and I'm not totally sure about this so if someone wants to clear things up Id appreciate that. So I'm working on making swimbaits and once I get some more working good I was wondering what the rules are on trading them. I guess technically I wouldn't be making a profit per-say just exchanging homemade sb for manufactured ones. What do y'all think? I don't want to disobey any of the rules
Brian C
Any mods or anyone know? Just a highschool kid trying go get some baits
evilcatfish
I don't see this as a problem but don't expect to get any high dollar, proven baits for your stuff. Before you trade anything put some of your baits through a fair amount of testing. People will be pissed if all the paint comes off and the hinges fall apart the first week Edited February 3, 2018 by evilcatfish basskickinrednick, El_Weruso and cascadekiller
Brian C
Definitely. Plan on working my way up. I'll have pictures of the build process and stuff so people will know how they are built. And ofc plenty of testing first

surfk9
Brian trading your own garage made baits for “manufactured†baits is a lofty endeavor as Kyle mentioned don’t get your hopes up that you’ll be able to trade right away ( nor get discouraged) people tend to go with the “the tried & true†version first ... it’s just human nature... my suggestion would be to trade with builders of your same ilk... ones building for themselves and friends... let your skill reputation mature with reviews & accolades from people using your baits... then you’ll be on the right track... good luck lure building is as big an addiction as swim baiting... Enjoy the ride... Go Fish!!! michel StriperAddict
