Born 2 fish
Recently a lake I fish was stocked with trout. My problem is they did not specify the species it's either brown or rainbow. That being said should I get a lite trout bait or rainbow color bait. Thanks for the help this swimbait game is all new to me.
bigpoppabass
Get some power bait and find out. Or look up prior catches on Google and utube. Fish near stocking area, the trout tend to hold there for a while. Baitmonkey
Treyc_cuthbertson
you can never go wrong with a rainbow trout color, I fish rainbow trout color baits places that they've never seen a trout and they still kill it
Loganodum38
you can never go wrong with a rainbow trout color, I fish rainbow trout color baits places that they've never seen a trout and they still kill yeah either one will work, me and trey fish places that have bass that have seen 0 trout in their lives. color does not matter at all (99% of situation, yours included), its all about profile and action. you can even think about this in conventional tackle, ive never seen an all white frog, but bass eat it. ever seen a craw thats solid black with blue flakes in it? not but they eat it, we use all different kinds of conventional lures that the color doesnt match the imitation like craw color shad crank baits, shad arent super bright red but they eat it. its all about profile and action. 90% of my baits are trout and i smash. youll be fine with either Sarge
