mcaetano2905
What is everyones favorite monofilament line for Hudds and other big baits? I use Trilene Big Game. 12lb line for the Hudd 68 Weedless, but most people I see here who use Big Game for the 8" Hudd use 20 to 30lb. Wes Peart
P Line CXX 25lb in Moss Green for everything. Never had a break off and I have straightened out the jig hook on an 8" Hudd that I would have otherwise lost in a snag. Re-bent the hook and Charlie Mike. It's pretty reasonable too. Sloegoe
Pline cxx 15lb for 6" Pline Cxx 20lb for 8" Pline Cxx 25lb for 10" and up, in 15 years I've never had a cast off or a break off. Every single time I've tried something different, within 1 day of fishing I've had a cast off or a break off, No Lie.

bigpoppabass
Be sure to wind without line twist is key. Alot of lines r good these days. Pline has a 2 for 1 promo of the cxx and that is tough to beat imo.

PRZ93
Only tried P-Line CXX in 20lb so far for big baits... It has produced with my smallest "big bait" (3:16 Mission Fish) so I am a believer in it. Love the P-Line Flouroclear in 12lb on my reg casting rig, so I gave the CXX a shot and so far am happy! Copoly seems to provide a great balance between flouro & mono properties.
bigpoppabass
Where are you seeing this 2 for 1 promo? I'm not seeing g it. It was a full page in fisherman ad. I think it applies at in store retailers. I didn't see it at tw. It says to check pline for stores.
