So today i was fishing my fs bluegill floater for about 4 hrs. with out a single blow up. So i was walking along the bank of the river casting and casting untill i saw probably 30+ carp on top water so i messed with them using the gill for about a half hour with still no luck. I was just watching them for a while and i relized why they were there....there was a blueberry bush hanging over the water and every time a berry would drop they were there to eat it. or atleast that was my theory so i tested it throwing them berrys and they ate it :o:!: Next thought that came to my mind was what if i put a blueberry on a hook :?: I did just that tossed it in and after a few casts i was able to catch a fish...I didnt catch the biggest ones i actually caught some of the smallest (i was just glad that i caught a few fish). But who ever would think a blueberry?????I will definately go back and see if they go there regularly but i mean there was some big ones...

Ive always noticed that the carp and the turtles gather under the mulberry trees in my neck of the woods when the berrys are falling. I was actually out the other day, and i noticed a couple dozen turtles all crammed under a tree. I didnt know what was going on until a squirrell came along to grab a few berries and jumped on the tree. When he made it to the branches of the mulberry tree, the berries fell everywhere, and the turtles went nuts. Its crazy how nature works together!
