Bluebacks.....FS shad & 7" TT

Went with my dad tonight to a lake that I usually struggle on and did pretty well considering the 100 degree temps today. Definately different fishing out of the back of the boat again, but I had a blast with my dad, too bad he ended up getting sick on me and we had to leave around midnight. Also, not drunk in the Triple Trout video, just all the waves made me lose my balance!

Nice. Was that a watch check right before the TT fish hit?

 Sure was, right as he hit, at first I thought I was hung on the end of that tree. I see what Don was talking about with the go pro. My camera makes that fish look like 6 or 7lbs and it only weighed maybe 4-4.5lbs, didn't weigh it.

No sense in making a new post for these dinks, but wanted to share them with you guys anyway. Went to the local lake infested with blueback herring and caught a few, nothing big but still a lot of fun :D

IN the tt video; is that a broken piece of an ego slider net?

 Yep, got my dad one for his birthday last year and he broke it on the first trip and wouldn't send it in to be fixed.....he's stubborn as can be. I haven't had any problems with mine, even netted a 10-12lb carp with it last december that I caught with a silver buddy, inside the mouth!

What is your camera set-up? Will "Go Pro" record long enough to be used in this application?

Go Pro with battery bac-pac, 32GB Sandisk Extreme 45mb/sec memory card, 2 extra batteries, and a suction cup mount. If I want to record in anything other than 720, I would need another memory card, but the 32gb gets me almost 8 hours of video.

The batteries are supposed to last 2.5 hours, but mine last about 2 hours. With the battery bac-pac attatched to the Go Pro, it doubles your battery time. So I record for about 4 hours, then swap out batteries.

I picked up my 32gb sandisk extreme sd card off of feebay for $37 and I'm pretty sure he's still selling them for that price, if you need the link, just let me know. Pretty sure they are legit cards instead of copies unless they are just that good at counterfeiting(which they probably are). Either way, it performs good and I haven't had any problems out of my memory card.
