Squid07
There was a -Deadsticking: you wouldn't think that a lure that doesn't have the most realistic profile would get bit when it's just sitting there, but the Slammer does. Not all the time, but often enough that it's worth giving it a shot when you suspect a bass is lurking in a very specific spot. Awesome review FishDr! This happened to me only one time but as I casted my slammer into the lake, as soon as it hit the water and after about 1-2 seconds I had the biggest blowup on it that Ive ever had! Didnt even get the chance to deadstick it haha! I got so excited that I jerked to early and missed it! Shocked the heck out of me!

evans_usmc69
Great review Fish Dr, I read it back when you first posted it but somehow forgot to post on here how much I liked it! I'd also like to throw up a few of my better fish on the 9" Slammer

chefjayson
Great review, I'm a big slammer guy as well. The slammer is by far my most confident bait to throw!

Fat-G
I don't know what it is about this bait. I like the 9" Slammer more than my Wake Jr. I like the 12" Slammer a LOT. It was my first swimbait other than a hudd and I caught a ton of fish on it. I just really don't know what it is about Slammers. They just get bit. You can walk them, pop them, crank, etc. There are so many ways to fish them. It is unreal. If you don't have a slammer, you should buy at least one 9" original.
