Caught this fish after a full morning of watching followers. Tons of interest but no bites. The anticipation of a fish finally commiting did a number on my adrenaline level. By the time she was in the net, I was shaking. Thought this video was going to look alot goofier!

I was having the same trouble, that's why I linked it that way

I kept waiting for her to summersault out of that fish trampoline you use for a landing net!

Dude, no kidding, I need to do some shopping around. I think I already erased the vid with the little guy.

Sean you been crushing them at that bridge great fish !

That particular spot is my personal favorite. I was giving Sean a hard time this afternoon because I think I had that same fish follow my Hudd out twice the other day. But, I had my chance to hook her and didn't; he did.

Watching the video, I think it was that he cast right next to where she hangs out and got a quick reaction strike. I was casting way past the piling to run my bait by it. Still getting used to the fact that the really big girls often see a splash as the dinner bell.

Definitely seems like the pre-spawn chew is starting.

Thanks y'all. That was one of the more gratifying catches in memory.

Nice fish man.

I don't know about those Ego nets, but if you can disassemble the hoop and like everything else about the net, might just look into buying a different bag from like Beckman or Frabill.

That's a good point, I'll look into it. I like everything else about the net, but the bag depth sucks.

Nice fish and footage Sean.Congrats.

Was it on a tuned 250 Deps Slide Swimmer?

Thanks DSouth. No, it was the stock model. I'm actually very pleased with how it swims. However, after talking to some guys about the differences in tuning, I pulled the trigger on a BB tuned one. Looking forward to getting it in the water 8-)
