Dsouth Posted April 2, 2013 Report Share Posted April 2, 2013 After a good #s weekend with the jig and soft rubber swimbaits (best around 4.8lbs) I decided to slip out of work early Monday thinking the big change in the weather could turn them on. Started out with a 5.7lb fish slow cranking a Pats trout, the hit came about 8’ down with a few soft jerks mixed in. LM #2 was caught right as the front was on me in the rain and wind; she crushed a Trout pattern slow sink glide-bait about 4’ down over 8’ of water, she went 7.4 on the digital. Guy driving by stopped right as the rains stopped and took a few pictures for me. LM #3 was on Real-Prey Joe’s bait skipped into a lay down and went 6.2 on the digital.
