Biggest diff (this coming from someone who hasnt thrown one or even held one in my hand) is the fact Dan has some that will crank 10-15ft down. I’m hoping Pat makes a few more for the handful of Underground guys that want them. Pat started hand making them a few years ago mostly for cranking deeper waters in the summer for big Northern Pike because no WT or Slammer would reach the depths we wanted so Pat experimented with lip sizes and angles along with different hard woods and not only did we get nice Pike we always caught good LM. The tight life like swimming action slow and steady deep is something the LM have never seen and being able to rise your rod and do the slow and steady 6-12†below the surface plowing the pads is another place where the PP works.You also can work them on top but only at super slow speeds so there’s a short review and history of the PP.
