Started using them with two feathers on my first 250, got bit alot with that bait. Saw other people taking them off so i started doing that also and kept catching fish. When i first got the mother a few years ago i started noticing the fish wanted to commit but would look for a place on the bait to focus the strike. I would also get fish to hit it soft by the tail, more like a nip. They would almost show frustration of not knowing where to hit so i started tying "subtle" front feathers, not the big white chicken wings. That was the last time i have had a rear hook up or a soft "nip" at the tail. They always end up targeting the front hook which is a much more effective way of landing fish. I primarily use the front feather on baits over ten inches or if im fishing for smallies or just smaller average size of fish...

Money sent, hope your father has a good, quick recovery and best wishes to your family in tough times. I have also had a shotgun accident where the chamber exploded and was very lucky to not suffer life changing damage to my hand!!! -manny chee -

Deps Slide Swimmers!!!!! (in 115) sorry, hahahaha After I had purchased my first 250SS, I ordered these from an asian webstore thinking I was getting the deal of the century! Waited a few weeks, you can imagine my face when I open the box and its these little rascals! 115mm size of my finger. They glide great with a steady retrieve, and are perfectly balanced!! $40 shipped

Purchased this on ebay, slightly smaller than a 175, heavy sink, top hook deps slide swimmer. bounce it off the bottom with sharp rod pumps and it throws a couple glides down there! Also glides nice with a steady, fast retrieve. Great for wood work! only thrown in the pool to see how it behaves. $65 shipped, paypal.
