But i have had huge bass come up and eat it, and if I see the bass come up I swing to fast, the best way to getem if you see them under the bait is look the other way crap your pants and let the rod rip out of your hands. A few of the biggest bass i have ever laid my eyes on have come up dead sticking and I just got to trigger happy at the hook set and became a fat zero for the day.

I think the Soft tool has a harness that is made so the bill wont break or fall out on a bad cast like the old ones so i dont think youll get it out. If you have one of the lighter colored ones hold it up to the light and look at the harness.
