Gonna take a break from fishing for awhile, and do some other things, so some stuff has got to go. NO TRADES guys, just looking for funds. LDC heavy, 8', split grip, spiraled right, micro guides. Black/Navy Blue/Gold Logo. One of the 1st heavy rods that Ben did. Great shape. One minor ding in the EVA pictured below, and tip was replaced with larger size a year ago. LOTS of Mojo in this rod, it's caught a lot of fish. Local Pick up within San Diego/Riverside/Orange County, I'm in Canyon Lake, can meet in between somewhere. Take it back and have them replace all clutch components at the same time. Each one I've done that to, hasn't happened again.

The one pictured in this thread is the newest 2015 model. Typically the "F" models were designed for saltwater boat fishing, where dropping heavy jigs to the bottom quickly is common practice. The braking system generally only consists of two pins, and isn't really designed to be a casting reel. The newer 2015 F (Ocea) series actually do include 4 pins in the braking system and could be used as a casting reel. The handle that comes on the reel however, is possible to engage the reel during a cast because of the weight. The past model 301's are tough to find. People who have them, usually don't give them up. the RH models are much easier to get ahold of. Geoff -
I believe he's talking about quality of components within the reel overall. In which case, yes, the D is not on the same level. The older Conquest are no doubt awesome reels, if you have the patience to deal with saving a little longer, i'd opt for the new Conquests! Howevere, the Conquest/TE line is tough to beat if you can score a good deal. Great reels Just my opinion for what it's worth. Geoff
