  1. As far as hard baits go I had great results with the floating BBZ shad when I first started swimbaiting. Not only is the price is hard to beat but you can fish it on standard bass tackle too. The only major drawback of this bait is that it is really small compared to what most people on here throw regularly and is probably best as a pond bait. If you dont mind paying the premium price the freestyle shad is arguably one of the best. My gf absolutely smashes them anytime she has them tied on floater or sinker. I might be alone in this train of thought but as far as soft shad baits go I would say 6" rising son is a good shad imitator despite the fact 3:16 makes a shad/bluegill softbait. unfortunately I have zero experience with either because the rising son almost always smokes em.
  2. this. Glad to see you guys putting them to work! awesome fish luke, give her another month or two and poker her again when she gains another 2 pounds

legit as usual super fast shipping and a good price. thanks dude.
  4. its pretty funny you bring this up, I just sold and shipped a bunch of car parts the last 2 weeks ago and had the exact same thing happen with one of my packages. The guy who bought it was going ballistic saying I scammed him and never shipped anything blah blah blah. I goto my post office to check, they dont have it and say to have him check with his local office... turns out his post office never scanned it in and it had been sitting in his local post office in montana for 8 days on a shelf. So you might want to have him swing by his post office and check if it is just sitting there.... if it is hopefully they are honest enough to repay you
  5. sorry been a long day, im under the assumption if you are going with the stringer method you will take a picture and let the fish go... rinse and repeat. If you want to stash multiple fish I can only hope you have a big ass live well.
  6. did you even watch the video or are you just bitching to b*tch? the whole point of the extra long stringer is like you said to get the fish right back into the water and keep the fish in the water instead of leaving it on the the bank or the floor of your boat while you dig around for your camera/tripod etc...
  7. Just make a "Mike Long" extra long stringer. I made one by clipping one of the clips off of an old stainless steel trout stringer I had and to make things convenient I tied it onto the tag end of the 44 mag lure knocker. So I basically have an all in one lure knocker/single trophy fish stringer. works even better when you know how to properly cull a fish too..
  8. I think the mini slammer is probably the best bang for your buck "rat", the only drawback if you even see it as one is that it is a relatively small bait.
  9. congrats d south! the last picture of yours is what got my vote! plus you look like the only one suffering with all that winter wear on awesome of you to kick down something for the next contest that is one monster slammer
  10. seriously and the guy doesn't even get excited about it that fish is chunky man that thing is a solid 10 in another 2 months
  11. haha no kidding man, it happened to me like 4 months in a row for a while. I kept checking a day late... but rules are rules and at least there is always next month
  12. sorry man you need to sign up prior to the start date. OUT!
  13. I heard his real name was dingle
  14. hell yea! good bait to get your first one on too.
  15. What he said, I just bought one but paid a premium and a half.
  16. I have unintentionally knocked the bill out of one of mine before. The swim reminds me of an oversized real deal not as exaggerated as a freestyle its a much tighter kick and more side to side wobble. I prefer my BAA's billed personally.
