You can buy RC car antennae tubes for dirt cheap. Not as cheap as coffee stirrers, however.

For the next carving you do that you plan on molding (and pouring with resin I assume) I would suggest that you leave the master without a joint. Once you pour them in resin, you can experiment with cutting a joint in different places and figure out what works best. If you mess up, just pour another solid master. Once you have the joint in a place you like, then make a mold of the two separate pieces. Just my 2 cents.

Not true, ask me how I know. It says max speed on el cap is 35..... break it a few times.. (50) tops and risk the ticket is my advice to get it broken in this winter. Hit top speed at hodges in Feb for full speed in Feb. (warm it up first)..Just my segestion.. Congrats on the boat! Hodges also has a speed limit, and I would NOT suggest going over the recommended. There are many kayaks and float tubes on this lake with many blind corners. It's an accident waiting to happen and I would not recommend pushing it. We know what happened on El Cap earlier this year from someone speeding...
