  1. I have a pair of Freestyle Bluegill up for sale. I have WAY more than retail invested in these baits and I'm looking to cash out on them as I don't need more than I already have on hand. Both baits are VERY lightly used - one is a Heavy Floater Male Bluegill, the other is a Floater Female Bluegill. I prefer to sell these as a pair to one buyer and would only split at the right price. Please don't PM me with any trade offers - I'm not interested. Please don't PM me asking what the highest offer is because I won't respond. I will ship the baits via USPS Priority Mail for fast service and they will be packed extremely carefully.

  2. I have decided to part with an incredible specimen of the beautiful and elusive I'ze Factory Daiwa Blacksheep 250 with the original Serpent Bite knobs. The reel is in EXCELLENT condition, has been used VERY little. There are a couple of what I consider very minor marks on the reel - so minor they are difficult to capture in photos. As a very rare item, it's great that this one comes with the original box and paperwork.

From the photos I've seen, these look amazing on some of the bad ass rods Ben builds at LDC. If anybody has one mounted on an LDC, a photo would be welcome on this thread!

I am opening this one up to cash offers and may consider a trade for select 3:16 hardbaits only - I don't need any 10" wakes or freestyles, and I don't need any baby wakes or wake jr's either FYI. Here are a few photos...

  3. I have a Shimano Calcutta TE 400 up for sale or potential trade. The reel is used and looks like it, but in terms of casting, retrieve, and power - it's all there and more. One of the handle knobs has a little play, but it's never caused me any issues, but full disclosure, I'm putting it out there. It has been recently cleaned and lubed and is ready to take on some big fish and big baits. It has upgraded BOCA hybrid ceramic spool bearings and carbontex drag washers for incredible stopping power - it's a beast of a reel and tosses the big stuff like a champ. I'm looking for $215 shipped and accept paypal or USPS Money Orders. Feel free to shoot me a PM with any interest...

  4. Got a few of those (as do u ;) but hanging onto them

    Understood 8-)

Obviously some other great baits you have up here... I have a pair of the original 6 2009 signed and dated 10" freestyle trout protos that I wouldn't sell either. Best of luck moving these outstanding baits!

  5. I just spoke with his parents and they are VERY disappointed in the actions of their son. They are willing to go through all of their son's tackle and make sure that everyone who had items stolen gets them back. I am working with some BBC members to get their items back and I know there is at least one of you guys here who was taken, so if you want your stuff back, let me know exactly what was taken via email - bronzeflybbc@gmail.com

  6. This thread was sent to me by a swimbait underground member who saw that this same individual being discussed here has scammed someone on BBC.

I thought that some of you may like to know that we at BBC have put so much heat on this individual already today that he's closed down all of his youtube accounts this evening and will soon be getting a visit from the Syracuse Police Department.

If any of you have any additional information I can provide to the police about his scams, what has been stolen, or anything else, please let me know via PM. We aren't going to let this slide - he's stolen from far too many people and no one has stood up and put an end to it until now...

  7. That is a fairly rare, expensive, limited edition reel that isn't really designed with big swimbaits in mind... No way I'd ever consider it as a dedicated swimbait reel - more like a deep crankbait, big spinnerbait, jerkbait kind of reel. Swimbaiting takes a toll on your reels, and finding replacement parts for that particular reel will ultimately be difficult and very expensive - not to mention you could buy a very nice LDC rod and a Calcutta TE for the price of the Topaz

They didn't make a Blacksheep in a LH version, and like you said, the RH version is very difficult to find, and also very expensive.
