  1. Thanks! I'd guess the one on the left does look familiar
  2. Thanks Underground Staff! Congrats SB
  3. Beautiful collections guys!! Here are a couple photos for your enjoyment
  4. Do some reading here and elsewhere, feel free to ask questions, and figure out which baits suit your situation/conditions best. All three of those baits you've mentioned catch fish. The baby wake may be the easiest and least expensive to acquire. You can always post up a "Wanted" thread in the "Black Market" section and be patient. Good luck and enjoy!
  5. I don't need a floating Sissy shad any longer, but will consider other 3:16 hard baits as partial trade, or maybe even full trade depending on the baits. Thanks guys!
  6. Thanks guys... I didn't even have to give up my first born
  7. Damn, Rina has all the money AND all the baits??
  8. I've had nothing but ultimately positive experiences from Tackle Warehouse. The time or two there was any sort of issue, it was resolved promptly, professionally, and fairly. They are responsive, have a good selection, detailed photos, they run specials, and offer free shipping on orders of $50 or more. I have ordered from BTD in the past as well. While their on site sales staff wasn't always as friendly as the guys at TW, they managed to get the job done effectively. They have had some baits in stock that TW hasn't had when I've wanted them. That's important to me. I've ordered from Huddleston a couple of times - once they messed up, but they more than made up for their mistake. I had an issue with a Bull Shad once and TMike ultimately stepped up and made it right. Like most of you, I have ordered a few times from the 3:16 website. Mickey and Rina are obviously doing a fine job. Their customer service is top notch and they offer a quality product - albeit in far too limited quantities it seems most of the time.
  9. PVC is your safest bet, no doubt. Most major rod companies ship their rods in cardboard tubes, often not as stout as those from say Tackle Warehouse. I've shipped a lot of rods in stout cardboard, as well as PVC. I hate to say it, but I have seen rods broken even shipped in PVC If I could offer ONE very significant tip for shipping rods it's this: SECURE the butt end of the rod so there is no shifting "up and down" inside the tube. I always wrap the butt end, secure that wrap, then run a piece of quality packing tape down the handle, outside and down the tube, then secure the cap. This prevents the tip from slamming into the other end of the tube during transit. Also LABEL "OPEN THIS END" at the butt end!! It makes life easier on everyone involved I ship rods via Fed Ex and ask them to put "THIS END UP" stickers on the tube, as well as "FRAGILE" stickers. They always oblige and they have delivered more rods successfully for me than any other carrier.
  10. I'm all about catch and release when it comes to bass, but the occasional striper, crappie, walleye, and catfish will find their way to the dinner table once in a while. I'd love to taste a trout fed catfish
  11. I have a new in box Shimano Calcutta TE 250 DC up for sale or trade. $400 shipped via paypal or USPS Money Order. Trades/partial trades considered for a floating Sissy Freestyle Shad or perhaps some other rare 3:16 hard baits. PM with any questions. Thanks!
  12. Wow! NICE whisker fish!! MMMMMM.... trout fed catfish. Wonder how those taste??
  13. I've caught muskies on the 6" and 8" tiger tubes, but haven't caught any bass on one. They have a great "glide" with a lift and fall!
  14. Good to hear stories about some of the fine folks still out there. Outstanding!!
  15. Creative and funny. Way to step up and let the chips fall where they may
  16. Spots are aggressive! Even the dinks
  17. I'm a fan of white baits because they flat out catch fish for me. Whether it be an HBC Wake Jr, a white spook, or a white jerkbait... It's a color I have confidence in throwing and it has worked well for me for a long time.
  18. I'm looking for a floating Sissy freestyle shad - new or used. Willing to buy outright or I have some nice items available for trade. Thanks!
  19. The PM button is now showing, thanks for the help
  20. Ah, thank you spooky! I see you have to go to the "messages" tab at the top, then enter the username you want to PM. I was looking for a PM tab somewhere on the main page. If you want to help me figure out the other issues I'm having, you're gonna need a lot of time
  21. I'm not seeing it... I see "profile" and "quote" but don't see "PM" anywhere...
  22. I may have overlooked it, but how do you send PM's here
